Ford threw himself down as a bullet zipped through the air where he had just been standing. Without a second's hesitation, Aeton activated the jump pack and sent himself hurtling backwards through the plate glass window and into the waiting doorway of the craft. As the vehicle started to move, Ford scrambled back up and started shooting, running back out into the main room of the suite as the car flew away into the clouds.

"What the hell was that?" Hubbard asked from where he had taken cover behind a kitchen counter.

"Aeton," Ford spat, "That asshole apparently doesn't want to quit."

"Here? What the hell for?"

"Take a wild guess," Ford jerked his head at the bloodied man in the chair.

Before Hubbard could reply, the distant groaning of an engine sounded amidst the rain outside. They were coming back. Ford reloaded and peered out at the clouds. Like a pouncing tiger, the car came straight at them, one of Aeton's goons hanging out the side holding some kind of launcher.
